About
AI assistants made it possible to build working software in an afternoon. That part is genuinely great. What they did not change is what production demands: secrets stay out of the repo, errors get handled, inputs get validated, someone can read the code in six months.
Will It Vibe checks the gap between those two worlds. It runs 115 fixed checks against your project, the same kinds of things an experienced reviewer looks for first, and turns the result into a single honest score with every deduction accounted for.
There is no AI anywhere in the scoring. That is a deliberate design choice, not a missing feature. A model would give a different answer every run, and a score you cannot reproduce is a score you cannot trust. Deterministic rules also mean scanning costs nothing per run, which is why the free tier can actually be free.
The scan itself runs in your browser. Folders and zips you drop never leave your machine. That is not a privacy policy promise layered on top, it is how the product is built.
What this is not
A high score means your project passed structural checks. It does not certify that your product is good, secure against a determined attacker, or worth building. We publish the full methodology and every one of the 115 rules so you can judge exactly what the number means.
